I was having problems trying to trim my toenails with a regular trimmer and also with the plier-type cutters. I was still having a hard time reaching the little toe. With this tool, it's no problem now. It just grinds the nails and not the skin. going to try it on my Chihuahua dog next. Love it.
I got this to help with goat care. He has a horn that grows into his head.the tool work well but I need to get a different bit. The saw blade I got separate did not do the job. I do think it will come in handy for other things.
I do many DIY projects at home. I already had a corded rotary tool but it is not easy to setup and use for small projects. I searched many ones online and I found this more convenient for the projects that I am mostly doing. I make small wooded toys for the kids. This is a perfect handy rotary tool for these kind of projects. The price is also very reasonable and you get what you pay. I like it a lot and so excited to use it.
My husband has huge collection of heavy duty tools. But they are too big and too powerful for me.
I am doing easy art and craft project and once a while I need tools to fix or make something.
I had to wait for my husband to be availble to do it for me, but most of the time, I just want to get it done at that moment since I am in the middle of my project. So slowly I've been looking for a small, light weight and decent power tool for my self to use for something small and simple.;
I like this tool because it's portable, cordless, I can use this to make some minor adjustment while hanging out with my family. I don't have to be stuck in my craft area to work on my project.
This is a very useful tool, I can use it for many things with different attachment that come with it. It also has different size of sleeves so I can use my husband's rotary tool attachment that he already has.
The 2 things that stop me for giving 5 stars is that the price is a bit on the pricey side for a small tool. and the battery only last for about 20 minutes before it needs to be charged again. That's not long enough for a tool.
Overall I am pretty happy with this tool. work for me to do something quick and if I need more powerful tool, I can always ask my husband's help again :)
Ive gone thru countless mini mixers for my morning coffee. They never lasted. Saw these mini rotary tools and I got to thinkin. So I bought one and as it turns out, it happens 2 B the best frother /mixer on the market. And its so small and perfect. Check out the pics. YES ! I would and will buy another even if it dies in a couple of months. The enjoyment of using it and the ease of use is perfect. I have a magnet holding it to my espresso machine. Its just perfect.
I've been using this instead of my Dremel tool. I'm a plastic modeler and build dioramas out of wood and this tool is excellent for the work I'm doing. Admittedly I use mostly the round file for making fixtures and grooves I need for roof supports.
I charged it once I got it and it still is running from the first charge. I have been able to use my Dremel bits with this device and it is handy. I'm planning on using the fine point file on my plastic figures to open up sleeves and trouser hems.
This tool is almost like using a pencil to work on the bits I've been working on since I got it.
I made a temporary duplicating fixture to make parts and I used the Dremel tool cut off wheel arbor to cut out the roof vent section on this roof. The bad layout is my fault I'll have to correct. I also used this tool to cut the grooves for the corrugated roof supports. My first attempt and eyeballed it so not as straight as I would have liked but the tool worked like a charm.
I figure I'll be using this more than the Dremel tool simply because it is easy to manipulate and has all the power I need to cut plastic and balsa wood.
I'd say if you need a light-duty rotary tool then this is a good start. I got some extra dental drill bits to do really fine detail things on my 1/35th scale plastic figures.
I use this mostly on the second step of power and for me, it works well.
I dont think this little tool would work much for big tasks like carving wood and such... it worked PERFECTLY for getting my acrylic nails off. It did get warm after nonstop use but I just turned it off and let it rest for a couple of minutes. It's a great tool for home manicures and even comes with a few attachments for it. It works better then the little manicure tool I bought from walmart lol
I'm a jeweler and a hobbyist, jeweler as in mostly wire work. I'm using this to deburr wire ends, grind, sand, polish and buffing wire and metal sheet. I needed a tool small enough to be used in small pieces, wireless for I'm not always working where there's an outlet and I love wireless freedom. This was all I asked for at a reasonable price. Feels comfortable in my hand, enough battery juice to last me a couple of days. Even for heavier tasks if you go slow you can cut through metal, grind through stone or drill through wood.
